In February of 2019, I was a volunteer at The Gathering Summit in Banff, AB along with 6 other students from the Advertising & Marketing Communications Management program. The 7 of us represented the college and were hand selected by our faculty and term client Loving Spoonful. During my shifts as a volunteer I was responsible for managing the VIP area of the main ballroom and ensuring guests of the summit filled out feedback surveys.

During the time I wasn't scheduled to volunteer I was able to sit in on various keynote speeches by brands such as The North Face, M&M's, Marvel, IBM, and Tony Hawk.
